To the one that this may concern.....

You don't appreciate the happy moments until you're in a sad moment. It's just how we work. We just automatically assume the happy moments are going to stay there forever. Like we work so hard in life that we desserve an easy life or something. Do we just stay sad in that bump of an ugly road? Do we stay down once we scrape our knees or do we get up and try again..... or do we eat a cookie? The sad moments are the hardest. We fail. We hurt and mourn. We fucking cry our shit faced eyes out until we fall asleep. In those very short or life long sad moments we just slowly graze ttough the sadness like a wave pool. As if the waves are stopping us from being happy. But what if we laugh while in the wave pool? If by some miracle, someone or something makes it just a tad bit better to get through the annoying waves. We over come our fears and doubts but without our fears and doubts and heartaches, what is there left to overcome? Taxes? Black friday? 5 o'clock traffic? It's a challenge. An every day challenge that we get through. Living in the moment but preparing for the future. We need it.
